The Cheshire collimation eyepiece SV197 is specifically designed for Newtonian and SCT reflector telescopes but can also be used to accurately align the optics of refractor telescopes.
It features a sighting hole at the top, allowing direct visibility of the calibration result. The eyepiece is equipped with fine crosshairs and a clear, bright mirror with a sighting hole.
Precision manufactured from aluminum, this eyepiece is equipped with an easy-to-use sighting system that does not require batteries. It is ideal for collimating the secondary mirror and can be used only during the day.
